Computed Radiography Systems
FujiFilm CR Systems
From the inventor and world’s leading manufacturer of digital X-ray systems, Fujifilm, Volunteer X-ray has the digital x-ray solution that’s perfect for your workload and budget.
FCR Prima T2 has been designed for those private practitioners with low volume imaging environments. The FCR Prima T2 stands out for its stunning combination of price, speed and remarkable image quality. Its throughput ranges from a rapid 47 to an outstanding 73 images per hour depending on cassette size.
The Fujifilm FCR XL-2 requires only 2.41 square feet of floor space, enabling it to be sited under countertops or in exam rooms behind control panels, aiding sites that have limited space or could not otherwise accommodate an in-room reader. The Fujifilm FCR XL-2 is ideal for distributed applications such as inside the exam room or even a trauma bay with a speed of up to 92 images an hour and image previews in as little as 23 seconds.
FCRView
FCRView is an all-in-one viewer that turns your desk into a multi-functional workstation with your radiographic exam needs. You can initiate and preview exposures, process and print your studies, and backup patient data all with this viewer from Fujifilm.
- Simple patient registration, storage and retrieval from the patient database
- Measurement functionality
- Adding annotation text, graphic symbols, and electronic markers to an image
- Ultrasound image and general-purpose image importing functions
- Portable data for imaging
- Connectable to additional Client PCs allowing you to share study information
The FCRView has the capacity to store between 15,000 and 20,000 images on line, providing automated notifications to back up by transferring the images to a NAS drive. As needed, DICOM images can also be sent to DVD or CD for transfer to other institutions for referral or second opinions, and can be output in either jpeg or bitmap image file formats for sharing with patients or use in presentations.
The system’s robust DICOM image viewer allows for full image viewing and manipulation capabilities. Facilities have the option to add up to four additional client workstations which can help streamline workflow by allowing front desk staff to schedule exams and have the information immediately available to physicians in the exam room or in their office.
FDX Console
The FDX Console is Fujifilm’s latest generation technologist workstation. The sophisticated interface is intuitive and customizable, and enables fast, easy exam completion and image optimization. The FDX Console integrates with CR or DR.
The FDX Console features Dynamic Visualization, Fujifilm’s latest image processing technology that automatically enhances visualization by extending visibility and maximizing recognition of contrast levels throughout the entire image. The resulting first-up images have outstanding detail and high window and leveling capability for every image captured.
A variety of advanced yet user-friendly functions include:
- Multi-Accession — opens multiple studies with separate accessions for the same patient in one acquisition screen.
- Auto trimming — simplifies offset imaging, automatically detects exposure area to send just true sized cropped image, eliminating unused regions of the detector for optimal image display size at the workstation and PACS.
- Region of Interest (ROI) image adjustment — unique 2-point ROI function that reprocesses images instantly based on user-selected points of interest.
- Flexible Noise Control (FNC): Selectively suppresses noise without loss of sharpness. Useful for pediatrics, lumbar spine and abdomen views
- Grid Pattern Removal (GPR): Intelligently removes moiré patterns caused by grids
- Image Stitching for DR and CR (optional) — automatically combines multiple adjoining images into a single long length image for scoliosis and long leg imaging.
- Precise Enlargement – Dual Display (optional) — provides high resolution, PACS comparable previews and enhances extended features.
